From Caroline Martin Mitchell’s desire to turn her family home into a museum to Jane Sindt’s efforts to save St. John’s Episcopal Church, Naper Settlement has been a site of women’s history. This audio tour was created as part of Women: Waves of Change to bring women’s history onto the grounds. We hope to introduce you to historical figures you’ve never met before and show you different ways to look at our familiar landscapes that reveal untold stories.
